Debbie Richards, president of Creative Interactive Ideas, supports talent development clients with technology challenges. She updates her job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities (such as speaking at learning conferences); and participating in professional organizations. Debbie was named one of the most influential people in corporate e-learning. Passionate about working with and mentoring other learning professionals, Debbie is a director at L&D Cares – The non-profit group provides talent development professionals no-cost coaching, mentoring, and resources to help them thrive and flourish in their careers. Debbie is the past president of the ATD Houston chapter and a past National Advisor for Chapters. She was the ATD Technology Conference Advisory Council chairperson for 2019. Debbie is the author of “Seeing the Possibilities With Augmented Reality,” an ATD TD at Work publication is found at https://www.td.org/td-at-work/seeing-the-possibilities-with-augmented-reality. She was also awarded the title of “Guild Master” by the Learning Guild in 2022. The purpose of the Guild Master Award is to recognize those members who have consistently contributed to the community in terms of both quantity and quality of content—and thus helped make the community a vibrant center for learning.
Nancy’s career has focused on the strategic management of instructional design, distance education, and emerging technology functions. She has created engaging learning experiences in higher education, corporate settings, and healthcare. She is helping to foster an employee-centric culture in her organization by partnering with leadership to translate design thinking methodologies into actionable strategies. Nancy shares her knowledge and practical insights for elearning design and development at various national conferences. She holds a doctorate in instructional technology and distance education.
I started in the eLearning world over 15 years ago and fell in love with development. I started sharing what he learned at conferences and fell in love with teaching. Since then, he has produced several online courses on Udemy and Pluralsight. I am passionate about sharing what I learn and helping you gain the skills needed to improve your development and ability to create the best learning experience for your learners. We are also currently developing tools to help speed up the process and give you the flexibility to create custom learning.
Dr. Jane Bozarth is the director of research for The eLearning Guild. She is the author of ELearning Solutions on a Shoestring; Better than Bullet Points: Creating Engaging Elearning with PowerPoint; From Analysis to Evaluation: Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Trainers; and Social Media for Trainers, coming out in August 2010. She is a popular conference speaker and is frequently found at both live and online international events. She also serves as one of the moderators of the popular weekly Twitter event #lrnchat, Thursdays at 8:30 PM ET. She describes herself on Twitter profile as a rabid, feral, and tribal learner, World’s Oldest Millenial, Positive Deviant, and Constructive Heretic. Jane Bozarth and her husband live in Durham, NC, USA.
Over 2,000,000 people have learned from digital skills Mark Lassoff. Mark’s courses are found on LinkedIn Learning, Safari, Udemy, Degreed, and other sites. He’s also the host of Amazon Prime Video’s BUILD, a show demonstrating how digital products are created. Mark was named to the 40 under 40 in both Austin, Texas, and Hartford, CT. In 2005, 2008, and 2012, Mark won American Graphic Design Awards for web design. In 2017, Mark won the prestigious Learning Guild Guildmaster Award.
Megan Torrance is CEO and founder of TorranceLearning, which helps organizations connect learning strategy to design, development, data and ultimately performance. Megan has over 25 years of experience in learning design, deployment and consulting. Megan and the TorranceLearning team are passionate about sharing what works in learning so they devote considerable time to teaching and sharing about Agile project management for learning experience design and the xAPI.
Nick has over 25 years of experience developing e-Learning solutions, applications and web platforms. As a learning architect designing amazing experiences for audiences. He has worked with hundreds of start-ups, organizations and Fortune 500 companies to help them understand the technology and develop innovative solutions to help their teams and customer base. Nick has won several awards from Apple and Fortune 500 organizations for productions and services. Nick is passionate about how design and technology can enhance learning and loves to share his knowledge and experience to teach, inspire and motivate. Nick is a founder and president of Sealworks Interactive Studios.
Michelle a portrait photographer that believes that portraits have power. They bring people together. They help us see things differently. They help us heal. Beyond the portrait, photography, she is an advocate with lived experience parenting a child with complex needs and navigating the public mental health system. Co-Director of grassroots parent group Advocates for Mental Health of MI Youth and helping other parents do the same. Experience in qualitative research, speaking, teaching, policy analysis, and project design and implementation. In 2023, Michelle was the DevCamp photographer and passion for helping others and learning quickly made here a a part of the DevCamp team.
Ms Brown is a nationally recognized learning consultant living in Virginia. She works with Government agencies, corporations and with educational institutions. Her work has taken her from Florida to Alaska. Known for her active and information packed seminars, she is requested as a speaker and facilitator in local, state and national events. She is the author of 2 self-help workbooks and a learning program, Studying Smarter.
25 years of always teaching something, Jason is a teacher/trainer/professor/instructional designer/conference director. Jason Bickle. With over two dozen years of experience in classroom instruction, online learning/mobile learning instructional design/development, and multimedia/graphic design, he has a passion for helping people get where they need to be and for bringing people together,
Jason has developed and/or directed 15 training conferences from 2010-2023 with Learning DevCamp beginning its 10th year. Jason has been an fulltime/parttime professor of Speech Communication and Computer Graphics/Multimedia/Web Design.
He’s currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Technology & Performance Improvement from the University of North Texas with expected completion in 2024. He holds a B.S. in Education, and M.A. in Communication Studies.
