Debbie Richards, president of Creative Interactive Ideas, supports talent development clients with technology challenges. She updates her job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities (such as speaking at learning conferences); and participating in professional organizations. Debbie was named one of the most influential people in corporate e-learning. Passionate about working with and mentoring other learning professionals, Debbie is a director at L&D Cares – The non-profit group provides talent development professionals no-cost coaching, mentoring, and resources to help them thrive and flourish in their careers. Debbie is the past president of the ATD Houston chapter and a past National Advisor for Chapters. She was the ATD Technology Conference Advisory Council chairperson for 2019. Debbie is the author of “Seeing the Possibilities With Augmented Reality,” an ATD TD at Work publication is found at https://www.td.org/td-at-work/seeing-the-possibilities-with-augmented-reality. She was also awarded the title of “Guild Master” by the Learning Guild in 2022. The purpose of the Guild Master Award is to recognize those members who have consistently contributed to the community in terms of both quantity and quality of content—and thus helped make the community a vibrant center for learning.
Nancy’s career has focused on the strategic management of instructional design, distance education, and emerging technology functions. She has created engaging learning experiences in higher education, corporate settings, and healthcare. She is helping to foster an employee-centric culture in her organization by partnering with leadership to translate design thinking methodologies into actionable strategies. Nancy shares her knowledge and practical insights for elearning design and development at various national conferences. She holds a doctorate in instructional technology and distance education.
I started in the eLearning world over 15 years ago and fell in love with development. I started sharing what he learned at conferences and fell in love with teaching. Since then, he has produced several online courses on Udemy and Pluralsight. I am passionate about sharing what I learn and helping you gain the skills needed to improve your development and ability to create the best learning experience for your learners. We are also currently developing tools to help speed up the process and give you the flexibility to create custom learning.
Dr. Jane Bozarth is the director of research for The eLearning Guild. She is the author of ELearning Solutions on a Shoestring; Better than Bullet Points: Creating Engaging Elearning with PowerPoint; From Analysis to Evaluation: Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Trainers; and Social Media for Trainers, coming out in August 2010. She is a popular conference speaker and is frequently found at both live and online international events. She also serves as one of the moderators of the popular weekly Twitter event #lrnchat, Thursdays at 8:30 PM ET. She describes herself on Twitter profile as a rabid, feral, and tribal learner, World’s Oldest Millenial, Positive Deviant, and Constructive Heretic. Ms Brown is a nationally recognized learning consultant living in Virginia. She works with Government agencies, corporations and with educational institutions. Her work has taken her from Florida to Alaska. Known for her active and information packed seminars, she is requested as a speaker and facilitator in local, state and national events. She is the author of 2 self-help workbooks and a learning program, Studying Smarter.
Jason is a seasoned educator, trainer, professor, instructional designer, and conference director with 25 years of teaching experience. He has a passion for helping people reach their goals and for bringing them together. His expertise spans classroom instruction, online and mobile learning design, and multimedia/graphic design.
Since 2010, Jason has programmed, developed and directed 16 training conferences, including Learning DevCamp, now entering its 11th year. He has also served as both a full- and part-time professor of Speech Communication as well as Computer Graphics, Multimedia, and Web Design.
Jason holds a Ph.D. in Applied Technology & Performance Improvement, an M.A. in Communication Studies, and a B.S. in Education.
