Why Salt Lake City?

People often ask why Salt Lake City? My answer, “Have you ever been to SLC in June?” My first trip to SLC was in 2005 attending a similar training conference. Finding my eLearning tribe, mountains, crisp air, and the calm of this place changed my life and career. First presenting and helping to program conferences then directing learning conferences in this place. Many have professed LDC is their favorite conference to attend because it’s like camp; waking up in the mountains sitting around telling stories of online learning successes, failures, and discovering possibilities. Nestled in against the mountains and University of Utah, the University Guest House is a small conference center where we collaborate and learn from each other.
