Kelly Barrett has worked at the IRS for 24 years and has been an eLearning and Microlearning specialist for over 15 years. Kelly has a Bachelors in Broadcasting and a Master of Information Systems. Kelly is a certified Online Training Professional (COTP) and a certified Knowledge Manager (CKM). Ten years ago Kelly started the Self-Help Online Tutorials (SHOTs) program by creating short, 3-min or less, narrated videos. The SHOTs videos provides both demonstrations and informational learning, on-demand, through a centralized video library. Kelly’s SHOTs program has grown IRS-wide with over 750 videos available to all 84,000+ employees.
