LLAMA! Agile Project Management for Instructional Design Projects
We all want to deliver client (internal or external) needs on time, and within budget. We all need to be able to adjust when client needs are often changing. By now, you’ve heard about Agile development methods to address these issues. Well, there ‘s a lot that the elearning development world can learn from them! Agile provides a framework for authorizing to adapt to change as it happens, and working with the client to deliver the content most-needed by learners. TorranceLearning has adapted Agile for instructional design and development projects – we call it the LLAMA (the Lot Like Agile Management Approach).
Participants in this session will learn about the Agile project management methods we’ve adapted and how our project teams actually use them on the job. We’ll talk about the tools & supplies you need, how to choose a project to pilot, and how we train our team. Learn how Agile techniques improve information flow, keeping a project on track, tracking hours and resources more easily, and defining clear and measureable job tasks.
